Ok so I have a few questions about chickens in general some examples are: What is the comb? what do they mean when they say bay colored eyes? what is bay colored? I've tried self educating over the web but I'm getting nowhere fast

can someone please help me? and educate on some of the basic terms used or point to a good web address???? I would greatly appreciate it.

Bay-colored eyes are dark reddish-brown.

Find Robert Blosl = BYC user name, as he is a long time show person and happy to teach. He has a heritage large fowl thread and the Rhode Island Red thread. And they have started a thread "chicken Univerdity" on quality show birds, but it is really rather informattive. If you want to know about "bay eyes" find Bob and sit and learn.
