Hold thier beak open and use a damp paper towl (warm water will work best) to clean out the goo

I'm so glad you posted that method. cause my duck had so much slime coming up that it had become a battle for her. She happily let me help her get the slime out of her mouth once she realized the paper towel was working. thanks!

My ducks refuse to eat slugs maybe that’s why that slime is nasty!
