Sweet girl's beak is split at the tip. Doesn't go very far back, just at the front. Do I let it grow out or is it bad enough to try and fix it?

I had a RIR like that. It eventually chipped off on its own and then grew back normally.

What did you decide to do @vjradford? I just noticed my RIR also has a tiny split at the tip of her beak (a little less than yours).

I left it alone for a couple of days to see what happened and within a week the side part split off and has now healed nicely! I didn't want to cause unnecessary stress to the hen - might be something to do with the RIR breed (soft beaks?) but I would just leave it alone and keep an eye to make sure it doesn't get any worse.

So glad to hear it healed nicely! I think I'm going to leave my girl alone too and let it heal itself!
