Slimey duckling hatched

I know a few of us who will be delighted to help you with duck eggs!!!!:weee And here's a happy dance for those ducklings!!! aren't they just the cutest!!! Okay let me see if I can upload a duckling photo....It's a few years back but still one of my favorites!!!!
That is sooo cute!! Ok another question, I have six babies now an one that is two days old, I took the newly hatched babies out of the bator because I feel like there is some sort of bacteria in there because I hatched a turkey last night and it just died also I hatched 16 partridge rock chicks in the pat two days and only have 8 left, I've been hatching 2 years so I'm not completely in the dark but how much heat do I need to keep on the new ducklings?? They are inside, my house runs about 70-74 degrees. I did blow dry them and fluff them with a toothbrush, and no it's not my husbands toothbrush. Lol! Any tips??

I read in Storeys Guide to Ducks, that slimey hatchling may be low humidity during incubation or hatch. I had a goose hatch one baby herself first year and it was nasty.I had to bath it and it still had gunk on head for a weeks that stuck to it. Book says to bump up humidity to 75% or so during hatch.
