sliping under chicks?

hi, today is the day that we slip two day old chicks under our bantam chicken Gemma! but how (and when) should we slip then under? and how long should we wail to see if she likes them?

I'd do it after dark.. slip out old eggs.. slip in the chicks.. may want to wear gloves she may peck you.. wait to make sure she stays on nest

ok, we got the chicks! we are going to slip them under tonight. one is a RIR the other is a Cochin...yay!
