Slipped tendon help!

The swelling went down and now he’s back walking again with the cardboard splint. I shortened a bit.
What tape do you use?
Should I get athlete’s tape?

The cardboard splint kept sliding down no matter what I did with it.
He’s walking around with just the tape on. Wish us luck…

Checked on him again and the foot is swollen again. Worse than earlier. The tendon is still in place. I really didn’t think I taped it too tight. Now the front part of his knee is red.
Once again, I am not sure what to do!

Re-tape it an not so tight this time.

In the end I taped him with sports bandage not tape, but it fell off, so he’s been walking with nothing on all night. He’s a bit shaky and limping still but he’s walking and the tendon stayed put. Should I try again with tape him this morning? When will we know that we’re out of the woods?
I placed them all on the porch again, while I deep clean my office, it’s filthy LOL

You can see the knee is still bruised but swelling in the foot is gone.
