I have a chick that hatched about 3 days ago and it has a slipped tendon on its right leg. I don't know how to correctly fix this but I know it's possible and I want to try and help it if possible. I'll take all the information I can get on what to do and any videos that walk you step by step on what to do. Thanks in advance!

Besides a slipped tendon, there are also leg bone deformities, such as twisted tibia and varus or valgus deformity which can affect either one or both legs. Is there any sore red or swollen skin on the baby’s hick? Is there a way to get a picture of the chick standing from the front? Scroll down this link to see if it is a slipped tendon, and how to put it back in place:

Thank you everyone for your responses! I think I figured out how to put it back in place and I splinted it with some vet wrap. In the picture below it shows the chick's right leg kind of sticking out some. In which direction should the leg be in the splint? Is it okay if it's like what's in the picture?

Yeah, that should be fine for now, pay attention to if the leg seems to be in pain at all still, and keep us posted. If it hasn't repositioned itself in the splint, you might have to do it for them. keep an eye on it. Keep it clean.
