My serama hen has a slipped tendon that just doesn't want to stay in place. I made a splint with two pieces of cardboard shaped in an open V on either side of her hock and wrapped with gauze. Of course she HATES it, but not the tendon doesn't move.
Question is: can I leave this on, if so how long? I am limiting her movement. she LOVES to play on the birdie jungle gym, but mom says no for now.

I know nothing about slipped tendons. I'm sure someone does.
