I received some water color supplies for Christmas and decided to try and watercolor a chicken after seeing @YamYam s adorable watercolor chickens. I don’t know exactly what I’m doing, nor do I profess to be an artist. Rather I am just doing this for the fun of it! Here’s my first attempt at chicken art. One of my frizzled lace project silkies. Including the pics I looked at for inspiration. (I know there are lots of mistakes!) Hopefully I can continue to work on water coloring and improve with time.

I may try to do one for each chicken in my flock. But I’m not positive. I need to learn how to improve my technique!

I water colored two of my little chickens today. A lavender Ameraucana bantam and a black amban x silkie cross. They are both so cute and little and lay the cutest blue eggs. I don’t have good pictures of them but I will attach a couple so you can kind of see what they look like. The painting is definitely not accurate to real life but was the best I could do at this point
