can anyone advise me on what to do about my chick who is not thriving? she's the smallest, and she sleeps too much. i do not see her getting pecked on. she, and the three who are identical to her, rir's, are 27 days old. she isn't behaving like the others do. she just eats, drinks, then goes back to lie down. i've read on here about separating chicks who aren't doing well, but i am reluctant to do it. if she wasn't eating and drinking, or if she was getting harassed, of course i would separate her. is there such of a thing as a slow developer/late bloomer in chicks? i give them plenty of food, so the only aggressive behaviour i notice is the usual chick jousting, sparring, (which is really funny to see). i have no previous experience to draw from, so i would very much appreciate some input from y'all. sincerely, krisenda.
