Hi,
Long story short:
I put 5 eggs under my broody silkie, I have 2 left under her at day 16. Pics were taken on day 16.
The first egg was set on Jan.1 - it's a medium sized egg from my EE, it'll be an EE/silkie cross
The second egg was set on Jan.2 - it's a silkie egg
There looks to be a pretty big difference in development. I'm looking for experienced candlers to give me their thoughts... is the EE cross developing quicker or the silkie slower? Will I have a staggered hatch day you think?
This is my first time....and my silkies first time... hatching eggs like this, I used an incubator last spring.
