Slow/Fast feathering in EEs - is it an accurate prediction of gender?

I have five EE chicks, all supposedly female. They are about 3 weeks old right now. Two of them are EXTREMELY slow
in getting their feathers and barely have tail feathers at all, while the other three have tail feathers about 3-4cm.

Pics are the first post in this link:

I've been told that slow feathering = male and quick feathering = female. But since EEs are such weird mutts, is this
truly and accurate way to sex? Anyone out there with slow feathering EE pullets?

I don't think the fast feathering gene would hold true with a EE because they are like you said a Mutt (or a cross)...

Nope, I have 26 EE pullets and they all feathered out at different rates!
