Slow-feathering, now stargazing, speckled sussex- need advice on care, not treatment!

I hope so. It was about 6 hours today before she pooped out. :/

Sounds like progress to me. Think of her as a patient in need of rehab. It's going to take time to get her from where she hs been (pretty sick and weak) to a healthy strong bird again. Won't happen overnight, but progress is good!

Just keep doing what your doing and give water with apv and electrolytes and probiotics. Look up magic water on youtube give her that and put som parsley and oregano in her water. Make her some scrambled eggs as well. Just keep babying her.

She's been doing better. She seems to have more trouble at night before bed, that's when she seems to regress to not being able to stand and looking straight up, then we have to put her back into the sling. Any idea why she might have more trouble at night? We haven't given her a roost back yet, though she seems to really want to roost. She has tried to fly up to the arms on our computer chairs, like she used to, but we have been trying to stop her because she has a hard time with it.
