So we have three different kinds of chicks and started to weigh them each day, perhaps it's just the breed difference since they all seem happy and healthy. In one week:
Buff Orpington went from 74.5g to 99g
Ameraucana went from 67.5g to 115g (she likes to eat)
Black Australorp has gone from 54g to 66g
At this rate, the Ameraucana will be 2x the size of the BA by this time tomorrow. Does that seem right based on the breeds or do these things vary in every flock? She seems just fine, not quite as crazy/flappy as the other two.
