    Aberdeen: Assault reported at high school

    9.30 a.m. CDT, May 12, 2011

    Aberdeen police responded to a reported assault on Wednesday afternoon at Central High School.

    Police Capt. Neil Bittner said that one person was poked with a fork during lunch. He described the incident as very minor and said the person who was poked with the fork did not require medical attention. Nobody was taken into custody and the incident is still under investigation, Bittner said. The report was made at 12:50 p.m.

    I poke my husband with a fork all the time. He has never called the cops on me. Yet.

    I love some of the things the news manage to come out with.
    I was watching Air crash Investigations last night, and after one of the crashes, the reporters were going around asking random strangers what they thought of the incident and putting that as a headline.

    I think the news should be when there isn't an assault in high school, especially in a large city or town.
