Slugs in the coop

Heyyyy guys. Need to check how slugs are with chickens? As I know with dogs slugs and snails can give them horrid worms that can make them really sick. Are slugs and snails OK? Or would they do the same? They seem to want to live in their coop. Keep getting them put!

They could give your chickens worms but lots of people are willing to take that risk because they are a high protein snack for chickens.

Slugs eat chicken feed, that is why they are there
