the edge of insanity
Ok, here are some of my silver laced wyandottes. They are 15 weeks and not crowing (yet). I am seeing 'green sheen to ALL of these as far as I can tell.. either the tail or behind the neck. Take a peek.

Any guesses to gender? I am pretty positive, but wanted to put it out there again.
Thanks!

Those pointed feathers on the second one's neck and shoulders make me think ROOSTER! The last one looks like a hen, from her comb and wattles, compared to the others. The first and third, I'm not sure - I'd need a closer look at their hackles. I bet someone else will nail it though!

My SLWs are 15 weeks old now too. The difference is pretty clear. However the rooster's irridescence in the tail feathers does not really show in this photo. But look at the saddle feathers, the curve in the tail feathers, and the wattles.

My pullet has dainty looking legs, and really light pink in the comb and face.

But yours are not that easy, are they? I'm leaning roosters though.

LOL They should be!!!! If these are all roosters, that means that the hatchery has a horrible percentage of wrong gender. I got 14 "pullets" and (7 slw's and 7 ee's) and I think 3 of them are roosters!
Thanks for the hope Kellykate!

eta to add info on hen - yes the last one should def. be a pullet, but she has some greenish feathers behind her neck. I dunno. I guess we wait for eggs or crowing.
