I used to have Red Sussex from Sandhill Preservation and they are more redder like NHReds and black tails and white legs. Your girls looks like Golden Sex Links or a bad colored Buff Orpingtons.

The girls look just like the RIR x Buff Orps I used to have. They were my favorite cross

Should be great layers for ya! Definately not Sussex though.
