Yes, they should have rose combs. By far my favourite comb type. Some hatchery Wyandottes have single combs, but it's a flaw.

Yes I had a slw with a single comb. She didn't have very good lacing either. She was my favorite bird though. I called her stranger bc of her strange comb.
