I just noticed a green sheen to some of the feathers.. Guess that means definite roo huh?

If she turns out to be a he I'll have to find him a new home if anyones interested in a lap chicken

I have a SLW I call Georgie for comparison.

Here he is at 6 weeks:

While yours does not seem to have as much comb and wattles as Georgie, (s)he has more than my girls do. Unfortunately I don't have pictures of the girls online.

I'm on the fence.

Any tips on what to look for? Coloring, behavior? I can't go by its comb because sometimes it's pale and then other times, like when excited about something, it's red.
I tried looking at the saddle feathers.. totally lost on that one, I know where they are but not what exactly they're supposed to look like on a pullet compared to a cockerel and I could find any pix for comparison.

Guess I should have gone with something a bit more simple for my first chicken lol
