Hello, I am the proud owner of a flock of backyard birds, and lately I've been thinking a bit about them, specifically about their genetics. I have two Silver-Laced Wyandottes in the flock, Serena and Queen, and both of them look very different from one another. I know breed differences are a thing, but I'm curious about their differences, and if both or neither would qualify for breed standards.
The first image is of Serena, I don't know what the standard would consider her, but I consider her a "Low Expression" SLW.
The second one is Queen, my "High-Expression SLW"
I was wondering what they would be considered, and if I could possibly breed Serena with a SLW Roo to try and continue her absolutely gorgeous colors, but what do y'all think? Please let me know
