SLW Roo just started crowing this morning!

This is Sylvester my Sliver Laced Wyandotte Roo and this morning he walked out and let it all fly out about five times. He has never even come close to this before.

This picture is about 6-7 weeks ago.....he is much larger now.

I have 4 SLW pullets that must be getting close?

They were all born in Feb, so about 4 1/2 pushing 5 months old? At least 18-19 weeks?

I also have RIR, Easter Egger, White Leghorn, Red Sex-link and black sex-link pullets, all around the age....who will pop first?

After a quick walk through the yard, 2 of my black sex-links, the white leghorn and the rhode island red all have had the combs come in big and bright red in the last few days!

Ester the EE? No idea....the 4 SLW pullets? Getting longer wattles???

From what I've read, white leghorns are very early layers. My bet would be on them.

Must be something in the air.....my 8 and 1/2 week old SLW started yesterday. Scared me to death; I thought he was choking...
