Ok, my 6 week old "PULLETS" are SLW's. I have 7 total and 4 of them have single combs that are bigger than the 3 that are pretty much flat on the head. I am ASSUMING that I have more roos than pullets, but I am TOTALLY addicted to try to figure this out before they start crowing or laying, whichever happens. So, here are the pictures!
First is a flat comb. I am mainly putting her on here for comparison.
Then a comparison shot.. the previous pullet is on the right.. kind of blurry reaching for the treat.
Ok, then the bigger single comb. ( I know that SLW's aren't supposed to have single combs but some slip in.. well... ) This is the same chicken that is in the comparison shot.
Thanks.. like I said, I am totally addicted to seeing everyone's chickens and guessing myself! Thanks!
