SLW - Roos?

Here are 2 pics of my SLW Roo at only around 6 1/2 weeks- hope it helps! Looks like you have two pullets there!

Of course now I have a different problem...

I am getting 3 new lav orpingtons on Sunday to correct for the 3 roos I ended up with. I am also getting a black orp because I thought for sure I was going to end up with another roo on my hands. I wanted to hedge my bets when the opportunity arose.

Seemed like good chicken math to me.

Not sure hubby is going to think so. He originally wanted 6 chickens and it seems that we will have 9.

They are just about 11 weeks old.

We had 10- last Friday the dog got a hen- so down to 9 (with 2 roos in the mix)... My DH said I had to order more- so we ordered 12... lol! So now we will have 21.... How in the world did that math happen? One down gain 12?

An to think, everyone thinks DH is a math wiz!
