Just wondering if someone wants to guess if I have a pullet or cockerel. Was supposed to be sexed from the hatchery. Silver Laced Wyandotte, about 7-8weeks according to to feed store.
SLW are vent sexed. The hatchery gives a 90% guarantee on that. I think you hit the 10%. With those wattles at that age that's pretty much certain to be a boy. Legs look a little heavy and the posture is pretty upright which are also not good signs. Sorry.
I don't know if this will help but this is one of my glw pullets from last year at 6 weeks. She had very large and very pink wattles. By 8 weeks I was certain she was a cockrell. She is now a lovely hen.
My slw chicken at 6 weeks is looking same. Other 3 don't have same cone or waddles. I'd guess roo for the both of us new to the sexing so could be totally off.
