I purchased my two SLWs in June 2008, along with about ten other chicks and I haven't noticed any aggressive behavior until the last 6 weeks or so. They have been pulling feathers out of the behinds of my cochins and have been pecking at the comb of one of our Japanese Bantams to the point where they took off a piece of her comb. They are pushing other chickens off the roost in the coop and are randomly pecking at whichever calm and dolice chicken is nearby when they are out in the yard during the day. They did start laying recently so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with this behavior but they are really causing some havoc in the flock.
Can anyone shed some light on what may be causing this agressive behavior and if there may be something I can do to fix it?
