Small air sac day 17 help please

Hi all
First timer here who is panicking. At day 17 of incubation of Khaki Campbells, air sacs have not progressed since day 14. They are no way near size they should be. Have been struggling to lower humidity below 50. Am trying to reduce it with a fan outside the incubator and have put in a bowl of rice this morning. I have no air vents in the Bator and I can’t lift the lid as it alarms. Any ideas or is it too late? Would misting help? TIA

Don't mist, just be patient you are early yet. Have you candles? Do you know you have fetuses?

Yes I have candled them and they are all moving and have good blood vessels. I measured the air sac day 10, 14 and today and there is little or no enlargement.

Ok don't worry. Try to lower your humidity if you can. There is still plenty of time. Hatching is so nerve racking.

How low would you suggest, I’ve got the Bator running with literally no water and a fan blowing in the room near it. The humidity is about 47/8

Ooh. I would not lower it any more. 50 is good. Duck eggs just require patience. Don't worry yet, and you can message me every day if you want. Its just nerve wracking.

I am at day 20 have candled the eggs and 3 of the air sacs have increased a little. There is one that hasn’t grown at all - I can see the little duck moving around it is very active. Would misting this egg help grow the sac?
