Small awning ideas?

I added more ventilation but now I need two awnings. What have other people used? One needs to be about a foot long, the other needs to be about two feet. (The rest of the ventilation already has awnings coming off the roof )

This is the door that needs one. I don’t have a pic of the back of the coop since we added more ventilation. It’s a metal building converted to a coop

Would you be able to just build one roof section? You could leave it flat or have it slightly slant to one side if needed for weather.

If it was me, I would put in post out from the outside ends and add a pie shaped roof. You could extend it out as far as you would like or need. I would probably go out at least as far as the door opens. You could secure with 2x4s on the actual structure

I found this in home depot - works well for our door to the run. Cheap! I think you can find bigger size ones as well.
