Howdy!
My girlfriend and I have five chickens in our backyard in Tucson, AZ. We feed them a mixture of seed for the most part, and also kitchen scraps when we have them. Every morning, though, a horde of sparrows, doves, and pigeons arrive in the backyard and steal the seed right out from under our chickens' beaks - what can we do to deal with this? The chickens aren't assertive themselves, and we don't really want to shoot the other birds as some have suggested to us. Thanks so much for any suggestions!
