Ok, so I've got 5 adult hens, 2 five week pullets, a three week pullet and 2 one week chicks. The smallest one is noticeably smaller and less active than her clutch-mate. I've let them spend some time outdoors today with the 5 weekers. Its 90 degrees here. (everyone getting along well in the tractor, and I'm sitting 3 feet away...) Little Pippa eats and drinks, but regularly needs her butt cleaned, and is slightly less active than her sister. Should I be worried? Advice?

Prolonged pasty butt isn't normal and indicates a digestive problem. I have had a great deal of good luck using a product called, MEDION therapy for poultry, which can be bought off Ebay for around $15.
The med is a broad spectrum antibiotic and safe to use on all ages of poultry.

I offered some plain yoghurt and added a little acv to their water. She's active and seems well after a bit of sunshine today. Fingers crossed.
