Hey! So recently one of our smaller babies has gotten sick. She is half a year old but still half the size she is supposed to be. She is a buff cochin bantam. We think she is so small because her and her brothers got coccidia but we treated them. Anyways, it's winter now and there is snow on the ground and we found her in the coop like normal but she was shivering even though nobody else was. Probably cause she's so small. So we brought her in and she started having breathing troubles. She started sounded gurgly and seems to have to work hard to breath. She has been in the house for a few days now and we thought maybe she got sour crop. Because her crop always felt mushy and we thought maybe the liquid from her crop was spilling into her lungs somehow? We smelt her crop and it's not yeasty and we tried to make her puke but nothing came out. She poops normal and drinks normal and seems like she is very interested in food still but only eats a little bit at a time. She has lost some weight now... any thoughts??
