Small dog attacked my 3 yo submissive hen

Hi folks!
Mazie update; she is doing awesome- a fearless mending machine! She has a ring of new feathers all around her backside. Today looks like she is going to lay her 3rd egg in 3 days, her first egg marked the end of her fifth week of recovery. She ventured out to the front yard with full escort yesterday for her first time.
I have been giving Mazie extra proteins almost every day this whole time and vitamins in her water off and on. I also have made sure Mazie has access to- together but alone time- that has required a lot of my time to either place her in the mini brooder or gate monitor. It all flexed and flowed as needed to make sure she was in a safe spot while being able to be social, exercise, pick and mend. Mostly because of the roosters trying to mate her. Not cool while she is growing out her feathers. I did not want to put a saddle on her with pin feathers so that is how we did it.
Mazie is behind, Indie with saddle in front.

She looks great! Well done - the BOTH of you 🤗

Aloha folks!
It has been 1 month and a little over 3 weeks since Mazie was attacked. I believe her to be 98% normal hen back in with the 1 roo flock- but 85% her normal as there have been some emotional scars. She is skittish of anything coming from behind her but she is also more trusting of me (as long as I approach from the front lol) and that I appreciate.
Her comb has reddened and plumped after the final scab fell off and her feather growth was established. She is laying maybe 3 times a week but for over 3yo that is good enough for me and far better than I thought she would ever do.
I now call her Amazie, because I think she is.
This morning playing in the water, hunting for bugs with some of the crew.

Good girl, you cannot even tell what happened!
Such a relief. I had my moments that I thought... man, I should have culled her and not put her through this healing process, she will never be the same... but that was really my ignorance and lack of experience. I totally bow down to the chicken heal :jumpy🌴

Wow, she looks great! You wouldn't even know she had such a big injury. You did an amazing job!

I'm really impressed that all her feathers grew over it. I was thinking that even if it did somehow heal (which seemed unlikely in the early posts, sorry :( ) there would be a bald patch of skin left from scar tissue.
