Small, Dwarf or Bantam Marans?

Was wondering if there is such a thing as dwarf chickens. These chicks are over 3 months old and one still looks like a tiny little chick. The others are starting to look like chickens, but this one doesn't even look like a small chicken...looks like a "chick" Are there dwarfs? And if not, does banty chickens look like a chicken only smaller?

There are dwarf and bantam both.
Some lines a few are slower to mature. I would just watch and see. Closer to 6-9 months and compare then

I hatched these two late this spring. They are less than half the size of the rest. BLRW picked the tails, sorry. They were wanting to fly off the sink (can you blame them, LOL) so the pose is not very good, but just to give you an idea of how they look.

Does anyone elese have pics of smaller typey marans they wanted to post here on BYC?

Do you still have any of these bantam type Marans? I have now been working with bantam Marans about a year.

No; they came from a breeder north of me a few hours in California. Do you know who/where you purchased your bantam Marans from on eBay? Trying to connect with more bantam Marans breeders. What variety do you have? photos? What state are you in? Im trying to get more photos to load of mine but my computer is being obnoxious. I had some Cuckoo bantam Marans but sent them all with my friend to the next county over as I now have 52 growouts of the BCM. These are still "project status". How is your egg color? These need work: smaller size, lighter hackle color, better egg color.
