Small egg

weh have 6 hens all have been laying for about one year now. Thanks to everyone that has given all the good information so far.
look at what i found this morning. must be from one of the barred rocks named Chance and Sausage by Kimberly our five year old daughter.

This is what was inside Nobodys eating this one

We found this one this evening while closing up the hens, laid by one of our Buff Orpingtons. This is compared to their regular sized eggs. I didn't take a picture of what was inside, but I was trying to wash it off for this pic and it broke. The shell was soft and peeled off like plastic wrap. Clear white with a bit of the white chazala (? chalaza? the white thingy), no yolk.

Funny, I was just reading about these "fart eggs" a few days ago, but had never seen one myself. Maybe I jinxed my birds?
