Hello everyone! I am new to raising ducks and I currently have 1 pekin female, 2 rouen females and 4 khaki females. My Peking and rouens are roughly 21 weeks and my khakis are around 16-17. We were on vacation and the neigh or came to check on the animals and noticed 2 small eggs, smaller than an average chicken egg. (I have 14 chickens all layers with 10 not laying yet) so I figured maybe it was one of my easter eggers. When we came home we found 3 eggs (small) all by the kiddie pool so I locked my ducks in their pin over night and the next morning there was an egg (still very small) my question is..why are the eggs so small. And I am not sure which is laying. I do have 3 male pekin and they are mating with all of the ducks. I thought duck eggs were suppose to be larger than chicken eggs. My chickens lay a decent egg I have isa's, a Rhode Island and an australorp. Am I doing something wrong? Please help!! I have provided a picture of the duck eggs compares to my chicken eggs.
