small eggs

I have got 6 bsl chickens about 6 months old.I also have 3 production reds that are over a year old.I've been getting eggs from my older chickens and they have been of a good size.I am now getting a few eggs from my bsl's and they are about the size of an oversized ping pong ball.Will they lay larger eggs or is this about the size I will get.Not all are laying.Thanks.

Thanks,I enjoy my home grown eggs and I like a good size fried egg.

Yes at first they start out small--like a "test egg" LOL--but soon they get the hang of it and they get to "normal" size for their breed. It all works out in
"the end" LOL (get it)?
