Okay so if your supposed to put the small end down, that means opposite of how you would get them in an egg carton? Just Checking before i set!

I know that you should put the air-sac up. I have my Maran eggs in an egg carton fat end up because a few of them have "air bubbles" that seem to move. Is this a busted air sac?

Anyway- the other eggs I'm incubating are my own & I have them flat on their sides. Is that ok too?

My LG was going really good, untill i took out the red plug on top (the directions said to) so i did an now the temp is ranging from 106-94. It was holding a good temp of 97-98 before i pulled the plug, any suggestions? I turned it down a little smiggen

LG 's are extremely fickle--I'm stuck with my two until my husband builds me a new incubator. In my LG theres one corner thats always 5 degrees cooler, so I don't use that area. If the temp was maintaining BEFORE you pulled the red plug--put the red plug back in! I have a digital thermometer that I use to test the temp in all four corners, you'd be surprised at the variance.

Whats your humidity looking like?

im using my mom's fancy meat thermometer that has a probe, surprisingly one of the thermometers that came with it is pretty accurate! it

Im only setting a dozen eggs tomorrow, Where would you recommend putting them? in the middle? And so it dosn't matter if the plug is in or not?

It doesn't really matter if the plug is in or not; what matters is if the temperature is staying stable, and the humidity is too.
You can pick up a hygrometer from a Pet store for less than $10; they sell them for use in reptile tanks. I always have to line the channels in the bottom tray with soaked sponges that I cut into strips, to maintain the humidity around 58%.
I move my thermometer around (I stick it in the tiny airholes) to see what the temp is throughout the incubator.

Good luck with your dozen!

Eggs for eating should be stored pointed end down too. It helps keep the yolk centered. If you boil them, you'll notice the difference.
