But what I wasn't expecting is the girls I just purchase who were from the same flock having issues

What type of issues? It takes a while for hens to ''settle in'' after being moved. Do they have plenty of space?

Yeah they have there own little run its smaller than the main one but there are just two bantam but the laying hen attacked the other ripped out some feathers. She is fine so they are separated from each other and the main flock but they came from the same flock and nested together with A LOT more hens in a coop about the size of my main house.

Like I said, moving can throw them off, and it usually takes a few weeks to settle in to their new surroundings. Hopefully they will all be fine in a few weeks.
