We noticed this about a week and a half or so ago by Willow's eye. We have been keeping an eye on it, (no pun intended) and it has very slowly been getting a tad bigger. There doesn't seem to be any cuts or anything in the eye and it doesn't seem to be bothering her at all. None of our other girls are bothering her and none of them seem to have it.

Any suggestions or ideas what it may be or what we should do for it? Or should we just let it go or keep watching it and see what it does?

As usual, thanks again for any advice you might have.

It could be a cyst or tumor, but a peck could cause a little abscess as well. Does it feel hard or soft? Have you had any chickens with fowl pox scabs on the comb or wattles, which is a virus spread by mosquitoes? A dab of plain Neosporin ointment on the scab would not hurt, applied twice a day.

It feels soft and it doesn't bother her in the slightest. We haven't had any problems with any of the other girls except bumblefoot (really REALLY hate that)

It very well could be a peck as she is so blasted mellow that we have had to make other "segregation" coops and runs because the RIR's are bullies and so is the Barred Rock or Rock Barred (we can't keep it straight) and they would just walk up to Willow and she would just drop down.

Thank you!
