Good morning!

I brought a new baby home yesterday. My guess is she's about 2 months old.

Half of the flock went pretty hard on her since they're bigger (3 months olds). I had to stop it because it was getting really violent.

The fact that she stenches the other farm and has loads of feces on her feathers might not help. I put vanilla on their beaks but I don't think it helped.

I put her next to them while they were sleeping and she eventually stamped on their heads to get a warm spot :).

She's still scared of them though and some are still staring at her like they want to kill her.

Should I bathe her? I don't want to traumatize her even more than she is right now. But maybe it would help with the integration? She's really dirty.

Have a good day everyone :)

Thanks. I'll be cleaning her up today. I hope it'll eases it for her.

I unfortunately don't have the space to separate them with a wire. I put branches and tall herbs to make her a hiding spot though.

The older chicks are avoiding to enter the coop altogether when she's in here. They don't usually stay in the outside area of it. They still go inside to eat, make sounds at her and sometimes peck at her but they mostly leave her alone... So there's that.
