Can anyone tell me what this is? My chick has a few of these, one her comb, another on the back of her leg and this one by her eye. Could it be the other chickens pecking her?

It is possible that other chicks are pecking her. However, this looks a lot like Fowl Pox.

Fowl Pox is a viral disease in chickens that is spread by mosquitoes and other flying insects. It isn't usually serious, unless it transitions into the "wet" form, in which lesions invade the throat or trachea. So far, your bird appears to only have the dry version.

Because it's caused by a virus, you can't really treat it. But, providing supportive treatment including electrolytes and probiotics can be beneficial. Make sure that she continues eating and drinking. To help the scabs dry up and go away, dab iodine on them.

If it becomes severe, think about starting antibiotics. Antibiotics can help prevent a secondary bacterial infection. Respiratory infections occasionally accompany Fowl Pox, especially wet Fowl Pox.

Thanks! I looked it up and that's what they definitely look like. Thanks so much I will keep an eye on it and hopefully it doesn't spread to the other chickens.
