i was wondering if i could make a livin by starting a hatchery

How much is "a living?"

How many breeders you have? How's your stock? Is your breed in demand? How much room do you have? Can you keep you lines seperate and pure?

I know many people can sell enough to cover feed and basic expenses, but to replace a full time job? Depends on what you have to work with.

And breeders usually already have lots of $$$...

Good luck if you decide to try. Always keep in mind what Saddina said. You will need to know alot of other breeders so you can introduce new blood into your stock so yours wont get too inbreeded. you need at least 10 Sq. feet for each standard sized bird. If you try and you do good that would be great.
