small trasparent pale bugs on eggs....mites?

Broody is on her nest 14 days into setting on duck eggs. I was candling tonight and saw a couple teensy pale translucent greenish bugs on the eggs. are these mites? I am trying to find DE but can't seem to find food grade locally. I guess I will have to order. It's not too late to dust is it?

I've seen bird lice but I don't recall any green ones. They are kind of translucent grey/brown.
