SMALL VICTORIES!

We went to the feed store and got pine shavings, went around the corners and got feed. Then we took out granddaughter to the lake to vist with friends. Tomorrow we have to work on chicken stuff. We have to get the young chickens in a new coop.

Yep! On Thursday night. They were FANTASTIC! Tickets sold out really fast (we got ours months ago), so hopefully they will come back sometime.

After an incredibly hectic week in which I spring cleaned my house and spent one day driving three hours each way to see my GD (I'm pretty sure she's computer generated-how else could a child be so perfect?) I spent this day peacefully resting-mostly. My small victory is getting the swelling down enough to fit in my shoes.

I'm halfway through grading papers, although I'm not sure what's under the current class...

Dishes done.
Floor swept.
Laundry done.
Chicks moved to larger brooder.
laundry detergent made.
Learning to shoot a 22 and 30/30.

boy, i wish i had the gumption to do some spring cleaning. but i feel every time i do, in five mins it's back to how it was. my DH is awful at helping me clean. i can get him to vacuum, maybe once a month lol. i do dishes, laundry, and clean up. i also work my 10 hour day, but commute to work(about 1/2 hour to 45 mins a day. we are up to get ready at 4 am, and don't get home till 5ish at night(maybe a little later if i stop at store to get supper) then i barely have time to let my dogs out(thankfully the oldest does that now) and with all her school work i dont' ask her to do much for chores, but once summer comes.. she's gonna help more than just letting dogs out and feeding them lol.

Made it to the farmers market today and bought tomato plants! Had a bbq with friends over and enjoyed the warm sunny weather!
