Small window for pop hole?

has anyone used a small window for your pop hole door? I saw some on craigs and though perhaps they would be good to use and easy to lock. Any one have thoughts about using one?

I've never seen one used, but it ought to work.

My Dh put one of those on the first coop he built for me------it was great!

Wish I still had that coop----one half was for my pygmy goats, and their door was an old dryer door!

Did you cover it with anything to pred proof it? I just thought the sliding up and down would be easy to open and close. Though I do have a build up of poop in the door way of the present opening. Ya need a chisel to get that stuff off. I saw some small windows for sale in CL for $10 and thought they might do. I may just see if I can get a couple for ventilation.
