Small windows that have screens

I purchased the previously mentioned window from Home Depot. I haven't installed it yet, but when it arrived, it turned out to be a good quality window for a coop.

Maybe you did the same, but I put mine in backwards and covered it from inside with hardware cloth..That way I can latch it closed from outside the coop..Just remember to caulk shut the weepholes so it doesn't drain inside the coop..

I got an old wood-framed casement window that had never been installed from a Craigslist ad. I really like the casement window, because I can leave it partly open and it still shields the coop from rain. I didn't bother with bug screen, but just stapled hardware cloth over it on the inside.
