Yes, it really is a bread box. The back side is cut out for their access to lay eggs. The roof covers a semi open air coop area that has a natural branch for the perch. My OEGB's are checking out their new digs. They just moved out of the grow out pen inside my large main coop.

Here is another angle of the breadbox coop. I have pine shavings in the bottom of the bread box. Under the perch is open. The whole coop is enclosed by a 3'x4' welded wire cage. They get to free range during the day, and are locked up at night.
