What would be the smallest breed of turkeys? And i'm guessing turkeys will be fine with pheasants in a pen.
I'm thinking to get a few turkeys, i have pheasants and would like to raise something a little different. I saw some turkeys at a nearby farm in my area and fell in love with them.
I want them to be a small breed bacause i dont have a lot of room for a large turkey breed.

Thanks!

The Midget White is pretty small - and endangered! The hens are 10-12 lbs, toms more - 16- 20 lbs. The Royal Palm is easier to come by and also small - hens should be about 10-12, toms 16-22.

You might also check with breeders to determine the size of birds in their flock - some may have smaller birds than average.

miget white is one, bourbon red is two, my wild easterns are the smallest the rest are about the same size, my beltvilles are slim but tall!!

The Midget White and the Beltsville Small White are the smallest variety with a mature tom going about 18 to 20 pounds and the hens 8 to 10. Both were bred for the small turkey meat market, the BSW's in the 1930's at the USDA research station in Beltsville, MD by Stanley Marsden. The Midgets in the 1950 by Robert Symth in Mass. In their prime the BSW was the #1 selling turkey in the US. When the broad breasted became popular they almost went extint.
