SMALLEST EGG EVER

One of my lg egg layers brown with spots laid an egg the size of a robins egg but brown with spots these girls are one year old and have been laying well with even a couple of jumbo eggs now and then, this has happened only once just wondering what caused it i kept it a few days but forgot to take a picture but they are Marans bought from strombergs

It's just a glitch. My spitzhaubens lay them all the time

I’d guess maybe it’s yolkless. We had one recently. It was from one of our LH and usually they have pretty big eggs. Just a glitch. Unless it keeps happening
