Smilie issues!

The

smilie seems to be not working about half the time, especially if there is not text after it. The uppercase D becomes a lowercase d.
Hence, the smilie comes out like this: :d rather than this:

Not quite the same, eh?

That's odd. Are peeps typing in :d and not using a cap "D" Any time I type in

it works 100% of the time.

It has been doing the same thing to me. It also does that with the

smiley. I am typing the right thing in. I even hit the icons sometimes. I don't know the problem.

Which browsers and versions are you guys using? I'm on Firefox 3.5.9 and have never seen this problem... and I use those smilies a LOT.

I'm using Firefox 3.0.10.

It's never done it before, and I haven't changed anything.
I'm on a MacBook, btw. If it matters.

It's the forum word censor. It lowercases anything it considers shouting.
